Fred Lynn
Unconscious for a few weeks in '74 and carried it over for all of '75 season to win Rookie of the Year and MVP. Lynn and Rice were the golddust twins. It was all downhill from there, as injuries plagued him throughout his career. Some accused him of not playing with injuries.
